My week; Planets

This week we've "painted" the high school with gimp, you can see my decoration in my last post!

I learnt how to make them look a bit more realistic, and I'm sharing my discovery.

Of course the first thing we need is to make a circle with the Ellipse Tool.

After we make the circle, we click the Blend Tool and choose two colours we fancy.

Combining lots of circles and a beautiful background we get a galaxy! It is really easy to make and it looks different and beautiful.

Elara and Piu

This is an article about something we like, and as I like them so much (actually love them) I've decided to write this post about my pets, Elara and Piu.
Elara is a female cat aged four and a half months. She's different tones of grey perfectly harmonised, and the point of the tail a bit brown-coloured. Her eyes are as big as two marbles and emerald green colour. Elara is so beautiful... but she's got such a bad temper. You know, cats. But, considering she spent minimum two days trapped in a trench (probably because of a human), raining, being three weeks old and missing her mother, and then forced to take several medicines to avoid tinea from eating her, Elara is charming. I am glad to say we saved her, and I know she knows.
Piu is a male dog aged nine. He used to be completely black, but as he gets old, white hair is growing over his paws and snout, straight short hair. Brown circular eyes, he's got the gaze of an angel when he asks for food or for a walk. Piu is a really, really good dog. We adopted him four years ago, he came from a Portuguese dog's home in exchange with a Spanish one (ANAA) as an attempt of looking a place for him, regarding this he had spent three years there without a family. The two first years of his life are still unknown, anyway, he's got a new life with us. I am also glad to say I saved him too, and I can notice he knows.
Elara and Piu took their time to get to know each other. Maybe the fact that, because of tinea, Elara had to be in a different room, they really didn't live together for a long time. Now there is no one isolated, there is no problem with the convivence. Elara usually mocks Piu till the point he has to bark, and when they play, they both learn. We know Piu has always had a bad relationship with dog puppies, never knew if he was going to accept a kitten, but he did, so much that he acts like his father sometimes. It's really good to see them fine in every aspect.
